Some of the highlights include her significant contributions to the  development of the Guidelines for Canadian Drinking Water Quality; her work as an appointed member of the Ontario Drinking Water Advisory Council (ODWAC); and, her role in the Committee that develops the World Health Organization''s (WHO) drinking water guidelines. In 2012, Michèle was a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in honour of her accomplishments.

Over the years, Michèle has approached every new challenge with enthusiasm, commitment and a passion that has not dimmed.
