International Conference on Water Management Modeling (ICWMM)

Print this Article | Send to Colleague

The ICWMM brings together professionals from around the world to exchange ideas on current practices and emerging technologies in water management. Emphasis is on state-of-the-art computer modeling for resolving water quantity and quality problems in stormwater, wastewater, watershed, and water distribution systems.

Effectively the 52nd SWMM Users Group meeting, presentations are of a very high standard and the atmosphere is informal and relaxed. And, by accepting abstracts up until the last minute, a spontaneity is achieved which gives the conference its special character.

WHO ATTENDS

Inherently multi-disciplinary, the ICWMM is designed for any and all who have a direct stake in stormwater management, non-point source pollution or urban water systems.

ATTENDEES ARE OFTEN:

  • Civil and environmental engineers, landscape engineers and architects;
  • Aquatic biologists, ecologists, fluvial geomorphologists, urban geographers and other scientists;
  • Municipal and government policy makers, engineering professionals, public works personnel and consultants; and
  • Instructors and researchers at universities and research institutes.
