Events, Events and more Events!

My family has learned not to expect me around much in May through June or September through mid-November.

I have already enjoyed a great WEAO Conference in Ottawa and the OWWA Conference in Niagara Falls. Out to Winnipeg for the WEFMAX session and a meeting of the WEF Canadian Affairs Council that works to maximize WEF’s services to Canadian members.

I was honoured to speak at CWN’s Blue Cities event in Toronto before hosting IWA dignitaries that came to judge Toronto as a potential site for the World Water Congress in 2022. We are looking good as the top contender! May winds down in Victoria for the BCWWA Conference.

June begins with our Window on Ottawa June 5-6 which includes meetings of our CWWA Board of Directors. Then we’re off to Philadelphia for AWWA’s ACE event. June ends with the Canadian Water Summit in Toronto June 22nd. This is a fascinating event bringing together a wide group of water professionals and CWWA has been a big supporter to bring the utility leaders into this national dialogue.
