National Workshop on Strategic Visioning of Urban Water Management

We are thrilled to announce that the agenda of the National Workshop on Strategic Visioning of Urban Water Management is finalized. You can access it at cwwa.ca.

The workshop will focus on developing a strategic vision for urban water management in Canada for the next half century dealing with three major topics of national interest: Climate Change, Risk Management and Asset Management.

Leaders from the national and international communities will deliver presentations on topics related to urban water challenges followed by interactive working discussions with federal, municipal and internationalurban water experts. The purpose of the workshop is to identify gaps, misalignments and uncertainties in the Canadian municipal water sector and develop recommendations for addressing those gaps and fulfilling the strategic vision for urban water management in Canada in the next half century.

The event is organized by CWWA, Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) and City of Ottawa, and intended for municipal water utility leaders, regulators, private sector and academia representatives.
