Description: “Just Drive” is a one-hour curriculum for commercial drivers designed to prevent collisions resulting from cell phone use while driving. Topics include the dangers and consequences of distracted driving, California Vehicle Code, and strategies to improve safety. The program uses PowerPoint and engages audiences with curriculum, video case examples and participant interaction. 

In the Train-the-Trainer workshop, attendees observe a trainer demonstrating the ‘Just Drive’ class, followed by 30 minutes of instruction on the specifics of program delivery.

Training will held in Chino on Thursday, March 14 during the Southern Safety Council Meeting and in Sacramento on Tuesday, March 19 at the Northern Safety Council Meeting. You do not need to be a member of the Northern or Southern Safety Council to attend!
