CTA Highlights
Mike Munoz of PB Loader Corporation and the State-wide Allied Conference Chair presented the Joe Kent Memorial Allied Conference Member Award, Sunday, January 22 at the President’s Brunch during CTA’s Annual Membership Conference.
CTA’s Allied Conference scored another big hit with their sponsored football party at the recent Annual Membership Conference in Monterey. It was standing room only as attendees enjoyed Sunday’s NFC Championship game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New England Patriots.
The hall outside the general session room at this year’s Annual Membership Conference at the Monterey Plaza Hotel were alit with color and whimsy from the posters submitted for consideration in the Annual Schools Poster Contest. The posters decorated the hallway for the duration of the conference during which attendees were encouraged to vote for their favorites. This year’s theme was "Truckers Are Champions of Commerce."
Discounts & Services
Trucking companies lose significant income in three main areas related to the management of load weights. These costs often go unnoticed simply because it‘s the method of operation that has become common practice. It’s just the way it is. However, it doesn’t have to be that way.
Often times a Request for Proposal (RFP) is the primary document sent to vendors that invites them to submit a proposal to provide goods or services. One of the main benefits that can arise if the RFP process is handled well is that it encourages vendors to submit organized proposals that can be evaluated using a quantifiable methodology.

Are you spending too much of your valuable time at the DMV? CTA can save you time and money on these transactions. For an exclusive CTA discount call Tina Ferguson at (916) 373-3525 or tferguson@caltrux.org  to get started.
