Winter Closure Reminder (I- 80 Donner Pass)

Caltrans and CTA would like to remind trucking companies that transport over Donner Pass (Interstate 80) that when the Donner Pass region is closed due to weather conditions the below are the only types of individuals, products and materials that are allowed through. This is just a reminder, CTA and Caltrans will notify members when there is a closure. Plan accordingly and make sure you inform your drivers.
1. ESSENTIAL PERSONEL, INCLUDING 1ST RESPONDERS, CALTRANS SNOW EMPLOYEES, GOVERNMENT CONTRACTORS WORKING ON CURRENT EMERGENCIES.
2. FUEL
3. UTILITIES (PG&E, PCWA, NID) ETC.
4. US MAIL, U.S. FOODS, SYSCO, STOHLGRENS, ARAMARK, GEN. PRODUCE
5. SKI RESORT EMPLOYEES (ID ONLY)
6. DOBBAS (RAILROAD)
7. LIVESTOCK (OF ANY KIND)
8. CASE BY CASE BASIS AUTHORIZED BY 72-0. NOTIFICATION TO BE MADE BY KVCC. INCLUDES MEDIA.
9. WATER TRUCKS (TO BAXTER ONLY)
