National Weather Service Information- Fall Winter Outlook 2018-2019

Last week, Caltrans District 3 held its annual Winter Operations Briefing in Kingvale, CA which was well attended by many CTA members. In addition to the Caltrans and CHP updates, the National Weather Service provided a Fall/Winter Outlook for 2018 and 2019. To view the presentation click here. CTA is working with Caltrans on providing a summary from the Winter Operations Meeting that will include Winter Transportation “Best Practice Tips” that they recommend for the trucking industry. As soon as the information is finalized CTA will send out to members. In the meantime, if you want to get on the Caltrans Kingvale Communications Center Update list and receive timely road updates for the Donner Pass Region send an email to Laurie James (Caltrans) at laurie.james@dot.ca.gov and ask her to add you to the list.
