Meet our 2017 Northern California Driver of the Year!!

This Saturday, at the Hilton Sacramento Arden West Hotel, we announced our 2017 Northern California Driver of the Year! In a crowded room of 180 people, Mr. Joe Addison from Safeway, Inc. was presented as our 2017 Driver of the Year.
Mr. Addison has enjoyed a career of over 32 years as a professional truck driver. During his career, Joe has driven over 3.3 million miles accident, injury, and citation free. He has been driving for Safeway, Inc. for 18 years and during those 18 years he has received numerous safety awards.
Joe volunteers for Safeway’s accident review committee. Often times, Joe’s driving expertise and knowledge are utilized to help in figuring out delivery situations, and ensure the job gets done.
Joe has participated in the CTA Truck Driving Championships, placing first in the Tanker division earlier this year, making it all the way to the National Truck Driving Championships this August, representing California Tank Truck drivers.
Joe is an great example to other drivers. He is an exceptional driver, with an impeccable record, and a passion for driving.
We are honored to present the award for California Truck Driving Association’s Driver of the Year to Mr. Joe Addison.
