President's Night & Holiday Gala - Please join the Bay Area Unit on Saturday, December 2 for our first ever cruise around the bay! The event will take place on the Embarkation in Alameda. We will be recognizing this year's CTA President, Doug Britton, as well as presenting our annual charitable donations. Register to attend.
Register For President's Night - This year's event will be on Thursday, October 26 at the Old City Hall Restaurant in Gilroy. 2017 CTA President Doug Britton will give an update on the year, plus future plans. Shawn Yadon, CEO, will give an update on legislative items. Register to attend.
Kern Unit Annual Sporting Clays Shoot: Come out and enjoy a fun filled day participating in the Sporting Clays Shoot. Proceeds will benefit disabled and disadvantaged children, disabled veterans throughout Kern County. This event is being held at Kern County Gun Club in Bakersfield, CA. on Friday October 13th. Register your team or individual for this event.

The LA/Orange Steering and Planning Committee members met on Thursday, Oct 5 to at the Double Tree in Norwalk. They discussed many hot topics and secured unit elections for 2018. Learn more about the LA/Orange Unit.

Sacramento Unit President's Night -STRIKE UP SOME FUN! Join the Sacramento Unit as they put a "spin" (pun intended) on their Annual President's Night at Capitol Bowl in West Sacramento.
This event is being held in conjunction with CTA’s Fall Executive & Policy Committee Meetings being held in Sacramento. Step outside of the boardroom and get to know CTA’s 2017 President Doug Britton and other CTA members in a fun and casual atmosphere. $40 includes a BBQ dinner, shoes rental and bowling. The SB/Riverside Unit held their 8th annual motorcycle poker ride on Saturday, October 7. Osterkamp Trucking in Pomona hosted the event. The proceeds went to Royal Families who put on camps for foster kids. A special thanks to Bill Smerber for being Chair of this event and Daren Zumberge for providing Osterkamp as the host facility. It takes a village to make this successful and many members stepped up to make it happen.
