Desiree Ochotorena, Accounts Payable

Department: Accounting
Desiree joined CTA in 2014 as the Supply Center Coordinator. She then joined the Accounting Department as CTA’s Accounts Payable. She makes sure that the bills get paid, balances accounts and report financials. She also serves as a back up to cover the Supply Center orders when needed.

What is your personal philosophy?
You get what you put out into the universe.
Tell us two things most people don’t know about you?
I can work on cars and I love to draw.
What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?
I have always enjoyed math and numbers. I see it like puzzles that need to be solved but the part I enjoy most is the environment in which I work. Everyone, from staff all the way to members and drivers, are always kind, caring, and progressive. There is always something new and exciting. Everyone works together to achieve the common goal of improving and promoting the growth of the trucking industry. I know I am a gear in a much larger machine working to do amazing things in an ever-growing industry. I love and support our industry and grateful for an opportunity to be involved in such a positive environment.
