Print this Article | Send to Colleague

Dear Vehicle Owner,

This is a reminder from the Air Resources Board (ARB) that fleets subject to the Truck and Bus Regulation that are using flexibility options with reporting requirements must annually update their information in the Truck Regulation Upload, Compliance, and Reporting System (TRUCRS).

Who Needs to Report for 2017?
• Vehicle owners that have already reported must update vehicle and owner information as it changes, including replacing vehicles or adding particulate matter filters.
• All owners using mileage-based flexibility options must report the vehicle’s January 1, 2017 odometer reading by January 31, 2017 to continue using the extension.  In addition, you must re-select the option you want to use.  Mileage-based flexibility options include:  the Low Mileage Work Truck Phase-In Option, the Low-Use Exemption, and the Agricultural Vehicle Extension.
• Owners who want to use the NOx Exempt Area Extension must report or re-select the option by January 31, 2017.
Please note that the ability to select flexibility options is disabled if required information (such as correct odometer readings for mileage-based options) is missing, or the vehicle is not eligible to use the provision.
