Wow, Thank you! What a blessing you and your staff are! Thank you so much for your generous outpouring to the community here in the Kern River Valley. This thank you has been a long time coming, but we haven't forgotten your kindsness in helping with the Erskine Fire Community BBQ. If you did not see the acknowledgent in the Courier, July 15th issue, enclosed is the write up of the event.

Your donation of ALL the food for the BBQ, all the fixings, drinks, paper goods provided a means of which we needed and you provided above and beyond! Your staff and crew helped set up, deliver and clean up. It is because of you, and your commitment to the KRV that we truly appreciate.

Many had a great day, just to gather and have a little light hearted fun, and take their mind off the devastation the fire has caused. It is in times like these, we realize those who are there for our community. Thank you for being there.

Sincerely,

Pastor Jim Cox
Weldon United Methodist Church
