CARB Releases New Proposed Advanced Clean Fleets Regulation and Workshops
Yesterday, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) released its updated draft regulatory language for the Advanced Clean Fleets (ACF) regulation along with dates for workshops to discuss the new proposed language for both the High Priority Fleets and Drayage requirements.
The High-Priority and Federal Fleets workshops is scheduled for next Monday, May 2 at 9:00 AM.
The High Priority requirement workshop will be hosted on Monday, May 2, at 9 AM. The High Priority Fleet requirements will apply to an entity that meets any of the following criteria:
- Is an entity with $50 million or more in gross annual revenue in the prior year;
- Is a fleet owner with 50 or more vehicles (defined as GVWR greater than 8,500lbs);
- Is a fleet owner whose fleet in combination with other fleets operated under common ownership and control totals 50 or more vehicles; or
- Is a broker or other fleet owner that in combination with other fleets owns, operates, or dispatches vehicles under common ownership and control that totals 50 or more vehicles

The Drayage Fleets workshop is scheduled for Friday, May 6 at 9:00 AM.
This workshops wil focus on , which under the new proposal would require any truck entering the port and registering in the Drayage Truck Registry (DTR) starting January 1, 2024 must be zero-emission and all diesel trucks must be registered in the DTR before January 1, 2024.
