Brake Safety Week is Set for August 23-29
The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance’s (CVSA) Brake Safety Week will proceed as scheduled, Aug. 23-29.  Vehicles that pass eligible inspections may receive a passed-inspection CVSA decal. Brake Safety Week is part of CVSA’s Operation Airbrake program, in partnership with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and the Canadian Council of Motor Transport Administrators.
 
PHMSA Notice of Extension of Enforcement Discretion for the Transport of Certain Sanitizing and Disinfecting Products
PHMSA is extending through October 31, 2020 its enforcement discretion for carriers transporting sanitizing and disinfecting materials on a motor vehicle for the purposes of protecting the health and safety of employees of the carrier.
