Content / Brand Marketing Coordinator

The Content / Brand Marketing Coordinator serves as the day-to-day liaison between marketing, sales, product and several cross-functional departments for Rawlings Canada, including product and ecommerce, to ensure proper usage, amplification, and syndication of brand assets. Candidates must have a passion to forge a consistency and unified approach to brand voice across many channels, especially social media and consumer facing media. This role will coordinate and generate copy and other marketing assets that meet brand objectives and provide streamlined business processes for optimizing content usage throughout each year. Additionally, this role will oversee the implementation and expansion of select B2B platforms and all omnichannel brand assets and partnerships for Rawlings Canada, including Salsify and Plum River, while managing the marketing functionality and SEO of each on a consistent basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages all Rawlings Sporting Goods Canada social media channels and leads each brands campaign-based content regularly.
  • Works inside Business Unit meetings while tracking all elements related to product-specific marketing launches and promotions from strategy to execution.
  • Creates or improves new process improvements & initiatives to ensure the library of Rawlings Sports
  • Canada brand marketing assets are being fully utilized to help create a unified, consistent omni-channel. And brand voice amongst customer-base.
  • Ensures all copy and content has high SEO value and is differentiated by the channel it will live on.
    Populates, monitors, and uploads proper marketing assets to customer-facing/B2B platforms (plum-river/salsify) with the latest marketing assets from all brands.
  • Identifies any gaps in product information using a workflow system.
    Serves as the main point-of-contact on the communication of brand assets to Rawlings Canada Omnichannel requirements.
  • Facilitates a product launch process with marketing team and BUL’s via project management tools, formalized documentation, and new organizational methods to streamline and distribute content creation.
  • Collaborates with eCommerce and D2C sales teams to support ongoing, enhanced content creation for new launches, signature series and seasonal needs.
    Manages documentation library for Canadian Market-place processes on Salsify to increase usage across company.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • Demonstrated experience with social media management (for multiple brands) SEO and copy writing/editing
  • Experience with Salsify/Plum River an asset but not requirement.
  • Advanced writing and editing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Photography / Editing skills would be considered an additional asset
  • Ability to come up with creative ideas and execute to completion
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to solve problems swiftly
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts, financial, reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of organizations. Must have proven excellent written presentation and verbal communication skills.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic math and algebra.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with complex problems involving several variables.
