While the supply disruptions certainly put a strain on logistics and supply chain professionals, it wasn’t enough to sour them on the profession: A full 93% of the 386 respondents to CSCMP Supply Chain Quarterly’s Second Annual Salary Survey say they would recommend the field to someone entering the job market or contemplating a career change.

Get valuable. first-hand insight from industry experts like Deep Analysis and Schneider about how automated solutions can be customized to your organization’s needs and elevate the accessibility, transparency, and agility of your supply chains.

According to the May Logistics Manager’s Index Report®, the overall LMI index is 71.3, down from April’s reading of 74.5, which was the second-highest reading in the history of the index. Note that because the LMI is a change index, this does not mean the logistics industry is slowing down, merely
that the rate of growth has slightly decreased.

The reading of 71.3 is well-above the all-time average of 63.3, indicating that we are still in a state of elevated growth in the logistics industry.
