Master of Science in Management-Supply Chain Management (SCM)

Founded in 1898, Dallas Baptist University (DBU) is a nationally ranked, liberal arts, global university offering a variety of educational opportunities for individuals of all ages and academic backgrounds, which include degree programs at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels, as well as continuing education and certificate programs.

DBU comprises nine colleges that offer students a professional and personal educational experience through a 13:1 student to faculty classroom ratio. There are 136 full-time faculty members of which 82 percent hold doctoral or terminal degrees. Total student enrollment is 5,100 with approximately 1700 students living on campus. Students attending DBU can choose from one of the 73 undergraduate programs, 63 accelerated bachelor's and master's degree programs,31 master’s degree programs (including Supply Chain Management), 71 dual master's programs, or 2 doctoral degree programs to meet her/his specific educational needs.

 

Master of Science in Management-Supply Chain Management (SCM)

The Master of Science in Management-SCM is a specialized STEM degree program designed to maximize your potential as a supply chain professional leading people and managing organizations. The program will challenge you to develop forward-thinking solutions and strategies while enhancing your personal leadership to meet the demands of today’s supply chain operation. Courses provide students with the opportunity to develop critical thinking and decision-making skills using a practitioner-scholar approach which combines the best conceptual and practical knowledge. This holistic teaching approach allows students to develop the competency to blend qualitative and quantitative data for a better understanding of how the supply chain supports the organization’s customers, mission, people and its strategic vision. Graduates will leave the program with the tools necessary to become strategic leaders who understand both the macro and micro level perspectives necessary in the global supply chain organization.

The Master of Science in Management-SCM is a STEM accredited, 36-hour master’s degree with a 12-hour concentration in Supply Chain Management. The flexible structure of the program’s course offerings and format allows the busy student to maintain a balanced work/life schedule while obtaining her or his educational goals. In addition, the program’s curriculum conforms to the education requirements of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professional’s (CSCMP) Level One SC Pro™ certification program enabling graduates to enter the workplace with a highly respected industry certificate upon completion of DBU’s MS program.

Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration – Supply Chain Management Concentration

GSUs Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration Supply Chain Management concentration is designed to give students a solid foundation in administrative skills and knowledge as well as functional skills and knowledge in Supply Chain Management leading to a successful entry or mid-level business career in the field of Supply Chain Management.

Graduates acquire an understanding of business and supply chain management theory and practice and how to apply that knowledge to business and non-business organizations of any size. GSU’s outstanding faculty and real-world curriculum prepare students for management and professional leadership that moves organizations forward.

 

MBA in Supply Chain Management

In the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program specializing in Supply Chain Management you will gain analytical and problem-solving skills and learn how to solve complex logistics, forecasting, supply chain optimization, sourcing and procurement problems and to take advantage of opportunities in the SCM field. The program places emphasis on materials management, distribution and logistics and warehouse, inventory and transportation management

The degree program is accredited by AACSB, the highest sign of quality among business programs, demonstrating the relevancy and currency of faculty and the program.

Supply Chain Management | Haslam College of Business 

The Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, consists of approximately 5,500 undergraduate and graduate students, 130 faculty, and 125 staff members. Its students and faculty aim to create the change that changes the world for the better.

Haslam’s undergraduate, graduate and executive supply chain programs are internationally renowned, and it houses the top-ranked empirical research faculty for supply chain. Its Global Supply Chain Institute brings together the leaders of the field four times a year to discuss challenges, opportunities, and the skills the next generation of supply chain leaders will need.

In 2017, Haslam’s student CSCMP chapter created a study program for the Council of Supply Chain Management Professional’s Level One SCPro™ exam. To date, their pass rate – for undergraduate students – is above 90 percent. 

Haslam offers an undergraduate business degree with a concentration in supply chain management, a master’s in supply chain taught in Germany, China and the United States with students and faculty from each country equally represented, a doctoral program, an Executive MBA in Global Supply Chain Management, and multiple executive courses in the field. It recently announced an online master’s in supply chain to be launched in 2019.
