As I shared at the Board of Directors Meeting in Palm Springs, PCOC is behind in paying the District Dues to the Districts. Since our December meeting, our accounting firm, has audited and confirmed the balance due each District. We are now ready to pay our District Dues Payable in full to each District. I will be presenting a check to each District Chair in person at the Board of Directors meeting on Tuesday afternoon. Please make sure that your District Chair is present on Tuesday afternoon March 21 at the Board of Directors Meeting to receive your District’s check. I take the autonomy of each District and their bank account very seriously. I so look forward to each District being Paid-In-Full!

In addition to the board meeting, we have many other events planned over the three days in Sacramento. Monday starts with golf and an evening Bug Crawl – a Pub Crawl that you will not want to miss. Thank you, Membership Committee, for creating our Bug Crawl! Tuesday morning will be committee meetings, Tuesday afternoon will be our Board of Directors Meeting, and Tuesday evening we will be hosting an open house and reception at the new PCOC downtown office. All members are welcome to join us that Tuesday evening to see our new space.

Wednesday is our Legislative Day. All members of PCOC are encouraged to visit our legislators on Wednesday morning, which has a new adjusted format (see Darren and Jim’s Legislative Day announcement in this issue for more details). I want to encourage all members to join us for these three days as Legislative Day and the BOD meeting are not just for board members but all members of the association. It is going to be an important week, and everyone will get a lot out of attending.

I look forward to seeing you in Sacramento,

Greg Augustine
