Exciting news from the Southern Ohio Valley Chapter

The Southern Ohio Valley Chapter collaborated with other chapters including Chicago, Central Indiana, Fort Wayne and Atlanta to offer CNE/CCM continuing education opportunites. The New England chapter and SOV jointly offered recordings as another avenue to offer CEs. 

On March 23rd, the SOV Chapter is offering a unique event with Dr. Eric Coleman. Several other chapters including Chicago, Greater Grand Rapids Kalamazoo, Cleveland, Minneapolis and Fort Wayne came together to offer this virtual presentation.

Please join us in congratulating Peggy Berry and Joan Sevy-Majers, who were recently inducted as FELLOWS in honor of their accomplishments and contributions to the nursing profession and healthcare.

Joan Sevy Majers, DNP, RN, FACHE, FAONL, CENP, CCM, and Treasurer SOV CMSA, received the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL) Fellow designation. AONL recognizes a nurse leader’s sustained contributions to the specialty of nursing leadership, commitment to service and influence in shaping health care.

Peggy Ann Berry, PhD, RN, COHN-S, CLE, PLNC, and Treasurer-Elect SOV CMSA, was honored to receive the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses (AAOHN) 2021 Fellow designation. AAOHN recognizes nurse leaders who provide vision to advance skills, knowledge and abilities of occupational and environmental health nurses, influence formation of policy, contribute to research and exemplify highly effective management and clinical practices.
