Monday's preconference sessions gave attendees a chance to take a deep dive into important topics such as how to hone the leadership skills that can help make you a case management leader; mentoring our successors; and how to write professionally, whether with regard to emails with colleagues or preparing an article for publication.
Monday also saw the return of Military/VA/DoD Day, a day-long event once again attended by a full house of participants who were able to learn, share and discuss with colleagues about the most current trends and issues affecting military, VA and Department of Defence case managers.
Late afternoon in the Montego room saw a large turnout for the First-Time Attendee & New Member Orientation Meeting, in which Crystal Amos and Nikki Jackson shared conference tips such as making use of the conference mobile app.
