Joseph Loyatho passed away last month. Joseph was born July 25, 1949, the second of seven children born to Laurent and Elizabeth Loyatho. Brothers Jean Batiste, Joseph, Bernard, Michel, Francois, Andre and one sister, Maite, all carried the same middle name of Marie, born out of their mother’s devotion to the Blessed Mother. Raised on a dairy farm in Hasparren, Joseph’s brothers and sister were no strangers to hard work.
