DOL Releases Streamlined FMLA Forms
The United States Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division (WHD) recently announced significant steps to streamline optional-use forms that workers can use to request and employers can use to coordinate leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). WHD also published a Request for Information (RFI) in the Federal Register seeking the public’s feedback on the law’s administration and use.

Materials Prices Rise for Second Straight Month since COVID-19 Crisis Began
Nonresidential construction input prices rose by 2.3% in June, according to an Associated Builders and Contractors analysis of U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Producer Price Index data released last week. This follows a rise in prices of 0.8% in May.
