Fall protection remains the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) most frequently cited rules violation, even after federal regulators sought to reduce fall-related fatalities with updated workplace safety rules towards the end of 2016.
 
Effective Feb. 4, OSHA has revived its National Emphasis Program on respirable crystalline silica for general industry, maritime and construction to “identify and reduce or eliminate” silica-related hazards.

Armstrong Ceiling Solutions has announced that it has partnered with LogiSon® Acoustic Network to provide networked sound masking, paging, and music technology that is pre-qualified for use with Armstrong® ceiling systems.
 
AD is reporting total 2019 member sales across its 12 divisions were $46.3 billion, an increase of 12% from 2018. Purchases by member companies from AD supplier partners landed at $12.1 billion, up 9% from 2018.
 
The Hilti Group grew sales by 4.3 percent in the 2019 business year to CHF 5.9 billion. In local currencies growth was 6.3 percent against the previous year.
