The price tag for the new Los Angeles Rams stadium under construction in Los Angeles has reached $4.25 billion, according to L.A. Biz. The figure includes the cost of a 6,000-seat amphitheater next to the stadium, but a planned buildout of retail and commercial development is likely to push the project past the $5 billion mark.

The Western Michigan Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) started a new training program for refugees after earning a $228,447 grant from the Michigan Office of New Americans (MONA), building on their existing program that offers ABC member companies English as second language (ESL) training and Spanish for construction classes. 20 people enrolled and all 20 enrollees finished out the program.

The Michigan Strategic Fund on Tuesday approved about $618 million in brownfield incentives for $2.14 billion in Dan Gilbert projects in downtown Detroit.It's the first time the state has approved such incentives, which were put into place following passage of a law enacted last year that allows the capture of certain taxes to help bolster development in Michigan communities.
