Fact Design, LLC Opens New Facility in Tennessee in Support of Growth

FACT design, a manufacturer and designer of patented folding acoustic ceiling tiles, has opened its doors in Sweetwater, TN. The company felt strongly about positioning itself in a town that not only embraces startups but also has a community that supports the business.

"Following our mission of making great acoustics easy, affordable and sustainable, it was critical to us that we also followed our servant leadership ethos of investing in community. Locating in East Tennessee, being able to support community in a community that supports us while also being within one day shipping to 80% of the U.S. is an important part of building a culture within a company" said Dave Hadani, CEO of FACT design.

Founded by Daniel Monier, an industry veteran with a background in the acoustic market spans several years beginning when he helped launch Buzzispace in the States. From there he joined TURF design to successfully grow their sales network and served as both a partner and VP-Sales during his tenure there. After the sale of Turf, he thought it was time to do something on his own.

"The concept for FACT was easy. It grew from years of listening." said Daniel Monier. "After spending the last 8 years listening to the issues and problems that designers and contractors faced when working in the ceiling, we decided to take this information and develop a company based around these needs." Monier went on to say, “The fact is, we would love for designers, contractors, architects and specifiers to embrace the grid. Our job is to infuse high design with making our customers lives easier.”

FACT design was developed to make designing in the ceiling easy. All of the products are designed to fold into shape and drop into any 9/16" or 15/16" grid. They are designed to be non-direction when inserting into the grid which allows the designer to play with patterns. They ship flat-packed for ease of delivery to the site as well as negotiating the stairs and elevators within existing spaces. All of these options make FACT a user and budget friendly solution for ceiling design. You are able to create the appearance of a custom ceiling without all of the time required upfront to do this.
