Chris Powell

Chris Powell practices land use and environmental law in California, assisting clients in both permitting and enforcement situations. He has assisted owners of pipelines, tank farms and other oil & gas related facilities in obtaining use permits, conducting environmental review, negotiating settlements and combatting aggressive enforcement actions. Additionally, he has assisted businesses in conducting due diligence, purchasing properties and obtaining all necessary governmental permits, easements and rights-of-way for pipelines and other oil & gas related projects. He has extensive experience with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the California Endangered Species Act (CESA), the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Land Use and Zoning Law, and the Clean Water Act (CWA).
