Cancellation of 2017 Destruction Derby

Due to factors beyond our control which will impact the overall event quality, it is with regret that CIOMA issues a cancellation notice for their 18th Annual Destruction Derby scheduled on April 28-29, 2017. The plan for now is that Derby will resume in 2018. 

The Destruction Derby is our biggest PAC fundraiser, which funds our government affairs relationship. The goal of CIOMPAC is to help political representatives who support policies favorable to our industry. These funds are critical to CIOMA being able to provide our members with a loud voice to our elected officials. CIOMA will be looking to find other ways to supplement this revenue loss and keep CIOMA strong in a challenging political environment for the foreseeable future.
