CIOMA MEMBER ALERT

Water Board Inquires About Regulation Changes

9/16/15

CIOMA Members:

State Water Board staff has reached out to CIOMA regarding development of proposed regulations in the near future.  Water Board staff is asking if there are any changes that our membership would like to have considered in the regulations change/update package.

We recommend that you contact your UST consultant(s) to see if they has suggestions for regulations changes.  Remember, changes to regulations must be allowed by state law (example, we could not recommend that the per-site limitation be increased to more than $1,000,000 as that limitation is included in state law).

Water Board staff is aksing that CIOMA consolidate any recommendations from our membership.  Suggestions should be forwarded to Jay McKeeman, jaymck@cioma.com, for review and possible inclusion.  Please put "UST Regs suggestions" in the subject line of the email.

Recommendations are due to CIOMA by Wednesday September 23
