California Oil Industry Celebrates the Life of Terry Andrews

It is with a heavy heart that I regret to inform you of our father Terry Andrews’ death.

Dad passed away after a thirteen week struggle with lung cancer. Each of us not only grieves at the passing of such a tremendous individual to so many great friends but also for the loss our entire family suffers. Mom has expressed her desire to have contributions made to American Cancer Society (donate3.cancer.org) or Sutter Medical Foundation Cancer Support (sutterhealth.org) in lieu of flowers.

We will be holding a private family burial this Friday 1/18/19 at 9am followed by a tribute to dad with a lap of InterState trucks from the local three branches around 11:30am.

The trucks will go down Power Inn Road and down Howe Avenue and make a right at fair oaks blvd, then right lane down to watt Ave, right then there then right turn onto US Hwy 50 tomorrow (Friday) at 11:30am. The Andrews family will be out on the sidewalk at Zinfandel Grille waving at the trucks while they sound their horns from the shell station past Zinfandel Grille. People from Piatti and Ruth Chris over by Pavilions are going to go out and wave at the convoy I am hearing. Please spread the word if anyone would like to join this tribute to Terry Andrews.

The Celebration of Terry’s Life will be held on 2/1/19 at Del Paso Country Club at 3333 Marconi Ave, Sacramento from 2:00-4:30pm. It is recommended to consider using Uber or Lyft as parking will be limited.

On behalf of Mom, Greg, Todd and Ashley, Melanie and myself, we would like to say Thank You for all of your tremendous support during this difficult loss. We are continually overwhelmed for all of the kind messages and love from all of you towards our family since last Wednesday morning.

Dad had an infectious smile that affected so many.

-Brent Andrews
