Increasing an event’s global attendance is a challenge.
While the idea of attracting a global audience may only seem within the reach
of large international events, this may not be the case at all. Even a small
scale regional event has the potential to resonate across the globe.
In the traditional sense, global attendance means that
people travel from all around the world to attend the event; the ideal
situation, but not always realistic. Today, event attendance can take many
shapes, provided an event is set up in a way that enables remote attendance and
the content has the potential to include and affect people globally.
