Viera Ewell, CMP accepted new employment with International Council for Shopping Centers as Western Division Manager. She gained valuable experience while working for an association management company for the past six years. This, along with being a CMP since 2010, definitely attracted her new employer.

Rosalie Oekerman, CMP is now an Event Manager at Event Travel Management. Formerly, Rosalie was Account Executive/Sr. Meeting and Incentive Planner at Beatty Group.

At Arrive Conference Solutions, Alan Kleinfeld, CMP, LEO, has been named Director, Emergency Planning. Alan combines over two decades of meeting planning with over a dozen years in law enforcement. This unique mixture allows Alan to see safety from a planner perspective. In this role, Alan works with organizations that plan events and advises on ways to make attendees safer. He also helps groups design emergency preparedness plans for strategic responses in the event of a crisis, such as an active shooter, weather event, etc. Before joining Arrive, Alan was with Meetings ONE, an event management company in DC.

Tenessa Moore, CMP joins Johnson C. Smith University as the new Conference and Event Services Manager. Her responsibilities include management of all campus function space as well as guest housing at Mosaic Village for both internal and external groups. Ms. Moore comes to JCSU with 20 years of marketing, event planning, graphic/web design and IT experience. Her unique skill set will be a valuable asset in strengthening event services within the university and solidifying Johnson C. Smith University as a premier source of conference and event services.
