It’s time to start thinking about Global Meetings Industry Day 2017! The success of this global day of advocacy is due to the engagement of many CIC members and their chapters. Last year, 115 events were held in 35 countries and we hope to continue to grow that number in 2017.
Even if you did not host an event last April, 2017 is a great opportunity to get involved and show your support for Meetings Mean Business. Materials available to make hosting an event easy, including a "How to get involved" document and a checklist specifically for event hosts to facilitate the planning process, along with a suggested timeline. These two materials along with a number of other resources are available at www.meetingsmeanbusiness.com/GMID.
