Volunteer Spotlight

Meet Marketing Co-Chair Eneyda Rodriguez!

Eneyda drives MPI-CAC's social media efforts, and loves sharing her passion and volunteer spirit with industry colleagues.

1.  How long have you been with MPI-CAC?

I have been a member of MPI-CAC since February 2016.

2.  What do you do in your Co-Chair role?

As a member of the Marketing & Communications Committee, I focus my efforts with the Social Media subcommittee. All social media posts you read, like and comment on are the ones I post.

3.  What is your favorite part about volunteering with MPI-CAC?

I enjoy giving back to the industry that has been a large part of my career. My favorite part is the building of community and fostering connections with those individuals who are just as passionate about what they do as I am.

4.  What do you like to do when you’re not working?

When not working, I enjoy ticking off my to-do list, staying active and at the end of the day, relaxing with a glass of wine.

5.  What advice would you give to someone considering taking a volunteer position with MPI-CAC?

Do it... You'll have lots of learning moments, develop invaluable skill sets and build friendships that will last for many years. Being a volunteer with MPI-CAC provides many opportunities including the chance to help in your personal & professional development. It's not only in the effort you put in your volunteerism but in the connections you will inevitably make that will help continue to build this strong community of hospitality professionals.

We know everyone has busy schedules, but many of our committees have a variety of tasks that can be done in just one hour a month!

Committees are always looking for members with leadership skills, creative mindsets and the drive to collaborate with fellow industry professionals. Click here to see the full list of committees and to fill out the committee interest form.
