Want to get to know your board of directors a little better?

Meet the Director of Education, Kelsey Fischbach!

Kelsey hopes to spend her time on the board providing quality education that moves our membership forward past the pandemic and into a brighter future.

1.  How long have you been with MPI-CAC?
I have been involved with MPI-CAC since 2017.

2.  What committees, if any, were you on before joining the Board?
I started on the Holiday Party committee as a member for 2 years before becoming a Co-Chair of Education Programs for 2 years.

3.  What is your role on the Board?
Director of Education Programs (Summer Knowledge Share, Fall Education, Winter Education, Spring Education and NEXT)

4.  What is one goal for MPI-CAC you have in your position this year?
My goal is to provide the Chapter with the education to help us move forward from the pandemic and help bring events back to life.

5.  What do you like to do when you’re not working?
I enjoy checking out new restaurants in the City and running outside to explore the city. I’ve been here 10 years and still find new streets to run down!

Volunteer/Join a Committee

The best way to get the most out of your MPI-CAC membership is by joining a committee. It’s a great way to network, utilize your skills or challenge yourself to try something new! We know everyone has busy schedules, but many of our committees have a variety of tasks that can be done in just one hour a month!

What is your committee responsible for?
Our committee is responsible for handling the logistics of MPI-CAC’s Education Programs. All the behind the scenes tasks that make in-person and virtual events run smoothly!

How often does your committee meet?
Typically, once or twice a month. Leading up to an event, we may meet once a week.

What are some tasks people do for your committee?
Committee members have been tasked with creating the run of show for an event, working with the MarComm Committee to develop marketing emails, social media posts and creating the PowerPoint slides for the event and managing the logistics on the event day whether it is in-person or virtual.

What makes your committee fun or stand out?
We are a small but mighty committee! We trust each other and are always willing to share ideas to improve MPI-CAC’s education offerings.
