How did you become involved in MPI?

I joined MPI to be connected with the Chicago event industry, building new partnerships with numerous planners and suppliers! I have really enjoyed my involvement with the chapter over the past four years!

What has been the most exciting moment or memorable thing that has happened since joining MPI?

It was an amazing experience being recognized by my peers as the Young Professional Achievement Award Winner in 2018. I have also loved being a part of the Marketing & Communications Committee, serving as a co-chair for two years. I was able to interact with different committee members while learning new skills, which led me into a new role at my company focusing on our social media and marketing campaigns.

Tell us something unique about you.

I ran the Chicago Marathon in 2019 and hope to run the Dublin Marathon this year (if it is not cancelled again 😊).

How long have you been with MPI-CAC?

12 years

What committees, if any, were you on before joining the board?

I have been on the Holiday Committee, Member Recruitment Committee, Special Events Committee, co-chair for special events, education content.

What is your role on the board? 

Director of leadership development

What is one goal for MPI-CAC you have in your position this year?

To foster a great committee that helps expand our leadership funnel and allows our members to be recognized.

What do you like to do when you’re not working? 

I love to spend time with my son Grayson, and I stay busy reading and crafting.
