Volunteer Spotlight

Board Spotlight

Want to get to know your board of directors a little better?

Meet Vice President of Membership – Sara Broderick!

How long have you been with MPI-CAC?

Nine years but 30 years in the industry

What committees, if any, were you on before joining the board?

We used to have a Community Outreach Committee, which I co-chaired for a few years. Before that Membership, which I seem to really like!

What is your role on the board?

Vice president membership

What is one goal for MPI-CAC you have in your position this year?

To continue to grow our membership and get the members actively involved on a committee

What do you like to do when you’re not working?

I walk every day 3 to 5 miles. I love to cook and try new recipes. Weekends, I can be found in Long Beach, Indiana, with my family, chilling at the beach and having big family dinners.

Member Spotlight

Spotlight Award Winner – Cyndi Roppolo Rosenberg, Kehoe Designs (Partner Development Committee). Formerly known as Engaged Member of the Month, the Spotlight Award Honors Committee members who have really been an all-star on their committee.

How did you become involved in MPI?

I had the pleasure of meeting Aine O’Brian and Keri Miller many years ago, and they both raved about the Chicago Chapter. I joined five years ago and have enjoyed the community and all the opportunities that membership offers.

What has been the most exciting moment or memorable thing that has happened since joining MPI?

I had the honor of serving on the MPI board of directors 2019 – overseeing the Annual Awards & Holiday Party working with Heather Brown. The year was eventful as COVID hit but truly showed how strong this community is. In addition, I was able to mentor my replacement Jonathan Zani and am so proud of his participating in the chapter.

Tell us something unique about you.

My family is everything to me and I treasure all my free time being with them during COVID.

In addition, I’m so honored to work for an indsutry icon, Tom Kehoe – our team are true innovators, and I have the distinct pleasure of representing the best of the best at KEHOE DESIGNS. On a personal note, I’m an avid Peloton rider, formerly a SoulCycle rider, cherish my long walks along Lake Michigan and have faith we will get beyond this.
