Spotlight Award Winner – Dillin Ravenscraft, Ateema Media & Marketing (Partnership Development Committee)

“I first heard about MPI from my very first intern who was attending the national MPI conference a few years ago in Tennessee. At the time, it was not a big focus for my position to be involved since I worked for a small chamber of commerce in Chicago. When I joined Ateema Media & Marketing (formerly Concierge Preferred), it was a natural fit for me to check out and join the Chicago Area Chapter. After attending an educational event at Shirley Ryan Ability Lab in January 2019, I found the education and networking so valuable that we joined the chapter. Since then I have tried to attend most events and be more active in the chapter and helping out where I can.”

Editor’s Note: Formerly known as Engaged Member of the Month, the Spotlight Award honors committee members who have really been all-stars on their committees.

Volunteer/Join a committee

The best way to get the most out of your MPI-CAC membership is by joining a committee. It’s a great way to network, utilize your skills or challenge yourself to try something new! We know everyone has busy schedules, but many of our committees have a variety of tasks that can be done in just one hour a month!

Committees are always looking for members with leadership skills, creative mindsets and the drive to collaborate with fellow industry professionals. Click here to see the full list of committees and to fill out the committee interest form.
