The benefits of MPI CAC membership

The most beneficial experience of membership to me is the community. The community that MPI provides is irreplaceable. It has provided me with business connections, personal relationships, and education. While all of these might seem obvious from a membership perspective it goes beyond. Business connections are not limited to potential business or vendors. I have made connections with people in similar job roles and competitors as we all bond together to navigate through the pandemic. We share contacts, vendors, how to's, etc., because we know that it is just as valuable for our company to survive as theirs. We all want the industry to strengthen. Personal connections have been made that have led to friendships. Not only do we bond over the industry but we bond with our interests, beliefs, and hobbies. Lastly, education has been key. And it's not only the formal education the chapter has provided, but educating each other on things learned through events, webinars, and certifications. Now more than ever we are learning from each other versus solely formal education, sharing ideas, and brainstorming together. It has never been more important for us to band together and MPI has truly provided the community to cultivate it.
