Spotlight Award Winner - Sarah Piggott, CMP (MarComm Committee)
"Before I was association manager for MPI-CAC, I got a membership grant from the chapter and ‘had’ to get involved. I joined the Leadership Development Committee to start engaging in the meeting industry community. I say ‘had’ because when you receive a membership grant, one of the requirements is that you need to join a committee and get involved. Getting involved is one of the best things you can do for your career. Even if you don't have a membership grant, I would suggest getting involved.”
