We just completed a great event where members had the opportunity to mix and mingle in a new venue on the Near Northside. The Green hosted the event, which featured several Golf Simulators and a full selection of great food and beverage options.
The venue offers a full bar and great food options, which they shared with us. The space is laid out quite well for social gatherings such as ours, whether you want to stand and mingle or sit down for more serious conversations. The space also allows you to come with a small group just to enjoy the energy of the facility or try your hand at golf.
Many of the people who attended tried their hand at the Golf Simulators and were surprised how much fun they had. They give you the option of playing many of the famous courses that you may only have seen on TV. They also have the option of letting you practice and review your swing on the screen. Whether you do this as a group at a large event such as ours or just come with a few friends, The Green lends itself quite well for social gatherings. Many of those who saw how much fun golf can be are now thinking about coming to the Golf Classic next year.
One of the great features of The Green that we took advantage of was the onsite parking in the complex. Not many of the venues in the Near Northside have onsite parking, which makes the experience at The Green much more inviting.
