Message from the President - Heather Brown, CMP, DMCP, PRA Business Events

Hello Members & Chapter Leaders, 

We are nearing our final quarter of the MPI-CAC fiscal year, yet we still have so much to look forward to. I hope to see everyone at the Industry Xchange event at Convene in Willis Tower on March 30. We have some fantastic programming planned and I look forward to networking with colleagues across all industry organizations in Chicago. The industry collaboration makes this a one-of-a-kind annual event!  

We also have our much-awaited Annual Awards and Recognition Event on May 17, which will be held at Venue West. This is my favorite night of the year as it is all about honoring our hard-working volunteers – and this year the awards committee have outdone themselves. If you have been nominated for an award, please complete your application by the deadline of March 20th so we can celebrate YOU.

Warning – do not forget to save the date for our Golf Classic event happening on June 5 at the incredible Ravinia Green Country Club. This year’s event is already generating a lot of buzz and should not be missed!

Finally, a big thank you to all our members, whether you are new, a chapter veteran, or somewhere in between, for your volunteerism and engagement. This has been a year of regrowth and rejuvenation that couldn’t have been possible without all of you. Sincere and heartfelt appreciation to all who have worked hard and have given so much of their time for our beloved chapter this year.
