Seaford Pharmaceuticals Inc.

Hi folks! I graduated from the then-Northern College of Chiropody in Salford in 1982. Yes, back then the curriculum included “how to sharpen a fixed blade scalpel using a strop.”

I am very happily divorced and spend my free time flying small aircraft, motorcycling, target shooting and making chocolates. In December 2022, I received the designation of “Professional Chocolatier with Honors. “

I spent my early years practicing in Wensleydale North Yorkshire, then to Lancashire before moving to Nottingham prior to moving to Canada. Whilst in Nottingham, I started a surgical Pupillage, but the opportunity to move to Canada was too great an opportunity to miss. It’s a decision I have never regretted.

I have travelled throughout Europe, including Scandinavia. Fun-fact: I lived in Norway in my teens for a couple of years.

Since moving to Canada, my travels have included Hawaii, the Caribbean, both west and south. I have visited several states in the US, but as it is on my doorstep, I often choose other destinations for my vacation. My favorite destination is Bermuda. I have travelled there twice on cruises, and I fell in love with the island due to its tranquility. Later this year, I am travelling with my lady-friend to Bermuda to celebrate ten years together.

What does the future hold? I feel that in my early 60s that I am far too young to retire, and I may be becoming slightly less tolerant of the “Male Bovine Manure” that seems to be thrown about these days(in my opinion), but I intend to carry on until I feel that I am no longer providing my best. When that day comes, I will know when to quit.

A poster presented at the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons Scientific Conference details how an ankle sprain led a patient to a diagnosis of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The poster is a case study of a 64-year-old woman who fell and twisted her ankle. Researchers noted her foot was in a varus position that was irreducible and later presented for an attempt at reducing the foot into a rectus position.

Modern esports took shape in the early 2000s and experienced slow, steady growth over the next two decades. Individual players, then small casual teams, and then professional esports organizations gradually grew the industry from a collection of ad hoc tournaments to today’s $2 billion-a-year global enterprise where international teams compete for prize pools upwards of $60 million.

Globally, challenges with recruitment and retention of allied health professionals to rural and remote locations are well recognised. Access to healthcare should be equitable no matter where you live, however, maldistribution of healthcare workers results in urban populations having greater access. In Australia, people living in rural and remote areas experience higher rates of illness, hospitalisation and death when compared to other Australians, yet these are the areas where there are greater shortages of health workers.

NPWT has been widely used for more than 25 years, after Louis C. Argenta and Michael J. Morkywas invented the first NPWT device known as VAC in the mid-1990s. The use of negative vacuum therapy can be traced back to the Roman era, when wounds sustained in battle were sucked directly by mouth to remove toxins. The use of ‘cupping’ is another technique developed in the 19th century to draw out fluid from a wound. Since its creation, the NPWT device has been used on millions of patients globally and has been a major advancement in managing wounds of varying size and depth.
