Data continue to accumulate for some role of topical oxygen (TOT) in tissue repair and wound healing.  A study from Golledge and colleagues in Australia reveals some interesting developments. Their systematic review and meta-analysis examined evidence for the benefit of topical oxygen therapy in healing diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs).

The clinic has an interest in chronic foot and ankle pain utilizing diagnostic ultrasound imaging while maintaining exceptional services through evidence-based medicine. Candidate must be professional, friendly with strong bedside manners. Ideal candidate will be qualified from UK or Australia with BSc (Hons) Podiatric Medicine. Further education towards MSc would be of interest. Must be proficient in general duties of podiatry (biomechanics, diabetes, nail surgeries, custom orthotics) with mentoring in Dx local anesthetic infiltrations to the foot and ankle, have possibly completed cortico-steroid injection course.
