Behind every great conference is a team of dedicated volunteers. At the CFPM conference, volunteers are the first friendly faces delegates meet, the problem-solvers who keep things running smoothly, and the driving force that makes the event a success. Without volunteers, there is no conference.
This is your chance to:
- Get a behind-the-scenes look at how a major medical conference is run
- Connect with leaders and colleagues in podiatry
- Build your professional network and friendships
- Explore what it’s like to take on leadership roles—many of our board members started out as conference volunteers!
We’re calling on:
- Assistants and office staff CFPM members - we need your skills and help
- Recent graduate CFPM members – looking to get involved, meet people, and grow your network
- Members – eager to give back to the profession and support the next generation
Volunteer opportunities include:
- Packing delegate bags before the conference
- Greeting attendees and distributing bags at registration
- Being a “point of contact” or “tag person” for Board members
- Directing attendees to sessions, workshops, or events
- Supporting speakers (session assistance)
- Helping exhibitors and sponsors connect with delegates
- Capturing the energy of the event with social media or photography support
