Gillian Pinder is an engineer and entrepreneur dedicated to improving movement and accessibility through innovative footwear solutions. As the founder of BareWear, she developed a unique indoor footwear product designed to meet the needs of individuals requiring orthotic support in typically barefoot activities. From initial concept to successful launch, Gillian led the design, development, testing, and overseas manufacturing process to deliver a solution that enables customized support while maximizing mobility and comfort.
With a background in sports engineering, Gillian has contributed to product development and testing at Arc'Teryx, Lululemon, and adidas. Now part of the Arc'Teryx Advanced Concepts team, she continues to explore innovative solutions that enhance movement, comfort, and performance for all.
