The U.S. Cyber Security and Infrastructure Security Agency offers a no-cost, voluntary, non-technical assessment to evaluate an organization’s operational resilience and practices. The review may be conducted as a self-assessment or as an on-site assessment facilitated by Department of Homeland Security cybersecurity professionals. The Cyber Resilience Review assesses enterprise practices and procedures across a range of 10 domains including risk management, incident management, service continuity and others. The assessment is designed to measure existing organizational resilience, as well as provide a gap analysis for improvement based on recognized best practices. Click here for additional information. The California Legislature is in the throes of legislative policy committee hearings. Both the Senate and the Assembly have until April 29 to move bills with a fiscal impact to the Appropriations Committees. Bills without a fiscal impact have until May 6 to be moved out of policy committees and to the floors of each house.
