The California Air Resources Board (CARB) is holding meetings to provide an update on the status of the development of the Cap-and-Trade Adaptive Management Process. The meetings are open to the public. Adaptive management is a process of information gathering, review, and analysis and response used by CARB that is designed to promote flexible public agency decision-making.  CARB committed to use the adaptive management approach as an integral part of implementing the Cap-and-Trade program in order to address unanticipated adverse air quality impacts that could result from the program.  Staff intends to present a final proposed Adaptive Management Process to the board in spring/early summer 2016. Additional meeting details are posted at http://www.arb.ca.gov/cc/capandtrade/adaptivemanagement/meetings/notice.pdf
