FARMER Funding Deadline for Smaller Air Districts

Funding Agricultural Replacement Measures for Emission Reductions (FARMER) program dollars to replace old agricultural equipment and vehicles are now available for 18 of California’s smaller air districts. Applications are due March 1. 

To be eligible, vehicles and equipment must be engaged in agricultural operations. Eligible project categories include on-road heavy-duty trucks, ff-road vehicles, such as tractors, stationary and portable engine sources, such as agricultural pumps, Utility Terrain Vehicles (UTV), or small tractors, (eligible for replacement with electric UTV) and infrastructure engaged in, or supporting, agricultural operations.

The 18 air districts are: Amador County, Modoc County, Antelope Valley, Mojave Desert, Calaveras County, North Coast Unified, El Dorado County, Northern Sierra, Great Basin Unified, Northern Sonoma County, Lake County, Placer County, Lassen County, Shasta County, Mariposa County, Siskiyou County, Mendocino County and Tuolumne County.
