CARB Selects Southwest Stockton for Second Year Implementation of AB 617 (Community Monitoring)

Based on a recommendation from the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD), the California Air Resources Board (CARB) has selected Southwest Stockton as one of three California communities eligible for additional clean air resources under AB 617.

CLFP members located within the boundaries may be subject to additional pressure to monitor or reduce criteria pollutants. In general, the current community boundary encompasses Highway 4 between I-5 and Highway 99 extending to Shimizu Dr. in the north toward Highway 99. South on 99 to S. Golden Gate Ave where it doubles back to E. Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd. then zig zags down to W. Mathews back to N. I-5 up to W. 8th then to the San Joaquin River back to Shimizu Dr. If you believe your facility is located within this boundary please contact John Larrea.
